Roger Brewin in a character re-enactor from Chicago plays Octave Chanute, who had a prominent role in early aviation.  He built and flew manned gliders on the shore of Lake Michigan in 1896, providing his designs to the Wrights in 1900.  He remained a close confidant until his death in 1910.
