Okay, the webmaster didn't
make it up to the radio station but did however take this photo from
across the street of a few of the members tearing the station down.
Roger Brewin
in a character re-enactor from Chicago plays Octave Chanute, who had a
prominent role in early aviation. He built and flew manned gliders
on the shore of Lake Michigan in 1896, providing his designs to the
Wrights in 1900. He remained a close confidant until his death in
1910.
