The North Carolina Special Events Group is a non profit organization whose
purpose it to promote historical and other special events by means of Amateur
Radio. By doing so we also hope to increase awareness of Amateur radio to the
general public. In December of 2003, we will be helping to promote the 100TH
Anniversary of the Wright Brothers First Flight at Kitty Hawk, North
Carolina.
We will be operating as W4B from The Black Pelican December 13 - 17, 2003.
W4B Special Event Frequencies
3.860 7.260 14.260 21.330 28.460
SSB + or - .010
3.550 7.050 14.050 21.050 28.050
CW + or - .010
One station will be on 14.260 continuously as propagation
permits from Dec 12, 2003 through December 17, 2003 - The second station
will alternate between SSB and CW depending on operator availability and may be
found on any of the above frequencies as propagation permits.
